AN GOBHA

Nestled within The Boyne Valley lies the forge of Tom King, also known as “An Gobha”. Tom is a blacksmith who follows the ways of ancient Ireland, crafting weapons and jewelry for Ireland's high kings and queens.

His mighty anvil can be heard echoing throughout the valley, and the flames can be seen soaring into the skies as the forge burns throughout the night, he is known throughout the valley but one question remains…Who is An Gobha?

A Documentary I created entirely by myself for my final year college dissertation project, so I directed, shot, edited and produced the whole documentary which was a mammoth of a task, but I was delighted with the final product which won many industry and film festivals awards.

It was a project which made me fall in love with documentary story telling, something I am working on expanding this year.
