My agency experience started with a 3 month production internship with BBDO Dublin, which is where I fell in love with the industry.
Straight after college I joined Simply Social/Studios as a production assistant where I have now worked my way up to a film director and editor. I have since been on hundreds of shoots ranging from all scales, and since we are a small team I gained experience of almost every role on a set.
Working in a fast paced Social agency has accelerated my learnings quite a lot and has aloud me to try out different creative paths, most recently being, working on creative strategies for pitching to our clients.

The big life question.Who am I?
Hi I’m Craig McShane a 23 year old, a wanna be film director and producer, currently working as a production Assistant at Simply Studios. I call myself a creative storyteller as my passion lies with being able to tell peoples stories through creative work.
Having graduated with a First Class Honours in Creative Digital Media, creating an award winning documentary for my dissertation project. I joined Simply Social where I have gained professional agency skills, from editing to directing, to dealing with clients, Ive got to have a go at it all. My love for documentary work has led me to begin a Level 9 Production Management Course at IADT.
2026 is a year for passion projects for me while i build my portfolio and skillset, so hopefully you see more of my work this year…
